How to Play

Guess the Ground is a daily football stadium guessing game. Each day you are shown three football ground images, one at a time.

The Rules

• Press Start Game to begin the daily challenge and start the timer.
• Type the name of the football ground shown in the image. You can also enter the club name if you recognise the team instead of the stadium.
• You must enter the full accepted answer. Partial answers or extra characters after the correct name will not count.
• There are three grounds to guess each day.
• Your score updates as you complete each ground.

Grounds Included

The stadiums shown are from England’s Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two, plus the Scottish Premiership, La Liga, the Bundesliga, Eredivisie, Serie A, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga and selected international grounds.

Some clubs’ current grounds and non-current, previous grounds may be shown, so keep an eye out for both modern stadiums and historic homes.

Controls and Autocomplete

As you type your guess, the game may show an autocomplete suggestion when it recognises a likely ground or club name.

• On mobile and tablet, tap the autocomplete suggestion to fill in the answer box automatically.
• On desktop, press the Tab key to accept the autocomplete suggestion.
• On desktop, you can press the Enter key to submit your guess instead of clicking the Guess button.

Scoring

Your daily score is based on completed grounds. On the first ground, the score shows a dash until you have submitted an answer. After that, your score updates as you progress through the challenge.

If your score turns gold, it means you are on a perfect run or have completed the day with every ground correct. Gold highlights are used to show an all-correct score and celebrate a flawless daily game.

Hints

If you get a ground wrong, you may be offered a clue break to unlock a hint and try once more. Hints are designed to help without giving the answer away.
